Hospital Director Joe Hrabak has worked in the veterinary medical field for nearly two decades. Eleven of those years were spent in the second-largest veterinary emergency hospital on the West Coast. Joe also holds the title of Certified Avian Specialist Class II. He has managed a total of six hospitals, three of which he helped start from the ground up.
Originally from Ohio, Joe has worked with zoo animals as large as a black rhino and as small as newborn leopard geckos. He also has worked with non-human primates, venomous snakes, and lizards.
Joe shares his home with two cats, Fenway and Smudge, and a ball python. Joe and his beautiful wife, Gwen, have been married for 14 years. They are the proud parents of two daughters, Emily and Abigail. He loves to play softball and baseball and enjoys camping, hiking, fishing and riding his motorcycle in his spare time.
