Dr. Liz Brucchieri
Dr. Liz Brucchieri and her husband, Dr. Scott Brucchieri, purchased Canyon Pet Hospital in 1999. Prior to practicing medicine at Canyon Pet Hospital, Dr. Brucchieri owned Pineview Animal Care Center in Flagstaff, Ariz., from 1998 to 1999. She also previously administered care as an emergency veterinarian at Columbus Veterinary Emergency Service in Worthington, Ohio, from 1997 to 1998; and as a veterinary intern at MedVet Specialty Practices in Worthington, Ohio, from 1996 to 1997.
Her veterinary interests include ultrasounds, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery and ophthalmology.
Dr. Liz grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota. She attended Northeast Missouri State University where she majored in animal science, before attending Ohio State University's School of Veterinary Medicine, where she was awarded her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1996.
Dr. Liz and Dr. Scott have four children. They are members of the Christ Church of Flagstaff.
Dr. Liz has a 12-year-old yellow Lab named Shaena, two cats—Tia and Alex—and a cockatiel whose name changes based on the whims of Dr. Liz's nine-year-old daughter.
